We Got the Beat ist ein Lied der amerikanischen Rockband The Go-Go's aus dem Jahr 1981. Rachel Plattens Version mit abgeändertem Text dient als Eröffnungslied von My Little Pony - Der Film. Ein Teil des Liedes ist auch im zweiten offiziellen Trailer des Films zu hören. Auf dem Soundtrack-Album fehlt er jedoch.

Laut Filmkomponist Daniel Ingram hatte er ursprünglich ein anderes Anfanglied für den Film, „Equestria“, welches jedoch in letzter Minute durch Plattens Version von „We Got the Beat“ ersetzt wurde.
