Some time ago we had a problem with the format of the air dates in episodes and capital letters in certain parts of the wiki. Despite being solved, I wanted to apologize for my behavior shown at the time. I must admit that I do not have much experience being an administrator since I have not been here as long as the previous users, and technically this it's my first wiki, but I have been trying to improve to date.
I was wondering if I could get your help updating the wiki logo, as has been done in the MLP franchise officially. I had seen that you contributed with the current logo here and, seeing that there were twofiles of the same with different sizes, I thought you would have the source file (vector or similar) to modify the colors. I would appreciate your help.
I was wondering if you already had the vector file of the wiki logo in Spanish available.
No problem if it is the opposite case, I think I could recreate the logo in Spanish in vector as well; the only inconvenient would be the references to do it. I have seen screenshots of the series with the logo in Spanish, but I find them somewhat small to vectorize. Did you use any other reference of a broadcast in Latin America / Spain to make the logo?
Due to the long inactivity time on your part, several community moderators decided to remove at least temporarily your administration rights because of the upcoming changes that will allow users to find an active administrator and get a quick response from them
Feel free to ask them back if you decide to get back sometime in the near or distant future as long as you compromise to use them for some stable time.
PD:I know you are a specific case, where you don't speak Spanish, and you're active user in others mlp wikis, but I'm following the same process for every user. And I must inform about that. Regards.
I understand that you'll need more active administrators and so on. I can agree that I've been very inactive.
It was fun managing the wikis; I was more into fixing the templates (that many wikis did protect?) because of language-limitations.
Sure, I was clumsy a few times pasting the code in the wrong tab, good thing it's Wikia, so it can be fixed rather easy. ^^
But I don't see any reasons to continue being admin here, seeing that you all are taking care of it quite good.
The biggest reason behind the admin-status is to being able to edit protected articles and templates, as I, admin of other wikis too, being a trusty user. And I do learn what I should/shouldn't do as well.
Some pages here I saw protected but without valid reason, so for that I have unblocked that pages, for the users who's know wikia code or they can deduce it. ("Personajes" is an example, where was protected only 'cause this article is a big table ._.) and about rights I think don't be a problem now (not only for you, I think some users was restricted too), only in interwikis links or that can be a little problem, but the admins who edits here, all of them know english very good (I think more than me too ._.) So you and others users have more freedom editing, Also can contact one admin too, sure will be happy for help you with protected pages or things about that (like what happened with "Princess Larva")
I am trying do a little biography about the users who was admins, if you like, can reply some info so I can add it in spanish in the page of administrators :)
It's no problem staying as Administrator for as long as it's possible, as it would remove some limitations (protected pages and such we talked about).
I've been more or less inactive, as I've said, but it's now on the summer end to autumn all different dubs is released again (now being Equestria Girls, for instance), and I'm on a hunt to get all these dubbed versions.
And biography about me? What kind of biography are we talking about? There isn't much added as of now.
I'm very interested in these different My Little Pony dubbed versions of all languages. I'm also on my hunt to gather these all too, so they won't simply "disappear" in the future as it stops airing on the TV. - I don't know what I should write. That's kinda what I'm interested in. - High quality is important ^^
Okay, you might be correct here. Even if I didn't change the original code? Well, sure, you're the admin here. Similarities can help users, and some edits (like hiding the 3rd, 4th header) will make the articles cleaner.
That code will format the [más]-button correctly on the right side rather than being part of the text on the left side. I would see this as the most important code here.
Over: fixed, Under: old
But when I'm on the subject. Wouldn't show/hide be better than more/less? This decision was made a year ago, when I added the codes, but I don't remember the reason (one, for not being native speaker).
With the headers, I had not seen that it was possible to hide the "Editar sección" as it was not applied in Wikia.css, and when I applied, changed many things, so I started to remove codes, thought to be adding some to see which if they should go.
No problems with the delays (was just a few hours). The text isn't that long anyway, it works. But isn't that common for Spanish, that some words and sentences are much longer? Because of the grammar. I've read some Spanish in school, as well as on my own. I love learning new languages, and grammar.
Clean-up and moving of code is good too. The mlp.wikia has some codes/functions that isn't active on other wikias. And about functions, the <section begin="ID" /><section end="ID" />-function. I would like to have that function. But for some reason, I can't seem to find why it works there, and not everywhere else.
The background here, doesn't fill my screen (1080p) either. When where on the subject of the visual style.
Some words... well. I'm glad I'm a Swede then... 'i' (inside), 'å' (river), 'ö' (island). The greatest examples ;) Well... 'speed limit' is, 'hastighetsbegränsning'. Finnish on Android, this is ridiculous.
The <section begin="ID" />-code is used for the Pony-list, sure. But I was more interested in it's usage for the songs and transcriptions articles. That the song is "copied" over to the transcription.
I've used Photoshop, and this image isn't that detailed either. Which gives high quality in low file-size. There's too much details in this image and I can't get it down to 100 kb and still have a decent quality.
That idea for the extension is useful, instead an link... I think that I'll use it...
Somehow I imagined that it was for the details, with an image of Ponyville, I had to reduce it to level 2 of quality in Photoshop and it looked quite ugly and didn't know if there was another program. Nevermind, I'll see how I solve with another image or editing this...
Because I'm an administrator on multiple international MLP-wikis here. Even though I don't understand most languages here, I can provide other help. Like how I added the show/hide-button, which doesn't work exactly as expected...
I've helped with many other things, like preventing spam and vandalism. There've been some non-user with the same IP-address vandalized multiple international wikis here which I've, since then, put a week-ban on, on multiple of these wikis.
There's several reasons for this, like locked pages that needs editing in it's code, that I now can do. I've been an administrator here for a very long time.
