My Little Pony: Camp Bighoof #2 is the second issue of IDW Publishing's My Little Pony: Camp Bighoof comic miniseries. In this issue, the Mane 5 and their campers are trapped at Camp Bighoof, but camp director Hitch Trailblazer tries to keep everyone calm and safe, especially with the mythical Bighoof lurking nearby.
Summary[]
Due to an unfortunate mishap from the Camp Bighoof campers practicing their magic, the camp entrance is blocked by debris, and the Mane 5 and campers are trapped inside the camp. The campers feel guilty for causing the entrance to collapse, but the Mane 5 assures them it is no one's fault and that their magic abilities will improve with practice. Hitch Trailblazer also informs them that they have plenty of food to last until they have the camp entrance cleared of blockage.
To address the loud roar from earlier, Sunny Starscout and Zipp Storm volunteer to investigate while their friends stay with the campers so they can practice using their magic more. Using a map of the campgrounds, Sunny and Zipp search for whatever made the loud roar, but they fail to find anything after several hours of searching.
Sunny and Zipp make their way back to the camp to meet up with the others. When they enter the mess hall to get something to eat, they are shocked and stunned to find Bighoof itself eating the campers' snacks. As their friends and the campers enter the mess hall behind them, Sunny and Zipp take their eyes off of Bighoof for only a moment, and when they turn back around, Bighoof has disappeared.
