My Little Pony: Camp Bighoof #3 is the third issue of IDW Publishing's My Little Pony: Camp Bighoof comic miniseries. In this issue, Sunny Starscout and Zipp Storm continue their search for the elusive Bighoof after catching the smallest glimpse of it, while the campers struggle to get a handle on their magic.
Summary[]
Sunny Starscout and Zipp Storm tell their friends that they saw Bighoof only moments before they joined Sunny and Zipp in the camp mess hall, but the others did not see anything. Zipp takes a picture of the pile of half-eaten snacks she and Sunny saw Bighoof eating, and the Mane 5 and campers enjoy some food and Pipp Petals leads the campers in a sing-along.
After seeing the campers off to bed, Sunny and Zipp tell Hitch that they wish to look for Bighoof again, but Hitch believes they are wasting their time and reminds them that they have an obligation to the campers. Sunny and Zipp promise to make time for the campers during their investigating, and the ponies retire for the evening. On his way to his sleeping quarters, Hitch bumps into Bighoof. He informs the others of this encounter and gives Sunny and Zipp his full approval to look for it and lead it away from camp so that it does not frighten the campers.
The next morning, Sunny and Zipp reason that Bighoof is an intelligent creature and that it is only wandering around the camp because it got trapped when the camp entrance collapsed. They set up several cameras around camp and use the same snacks Bighoof was eating the night before as bait to lure it out of hiding. They then join their friends and the campers back at the camp entrance, where the campers continue practicing their magic while clearing the debris. As the Mane 5 teach the campers about being respectful of nature, Zipp gets an alert on her phone that all of her cameras' proximity sensors have been triggered, and she and Sunny head out to catch Bighoof.

- Sunny Starscout: Unity means not only all ponies coming to live together in harmony but all creatures of Equestria.
- Hitch Trailblazer: I don't know know that it's fair to leave us to pull your weight with the camp while you're off on a wild-goose chase.

- Hitch Trailblazer: I--I saw it.
- Zipp Storm: What?
- Hitch Trailblazer: The Bighoof!
