My Little Pony: Camp Bighoof #5 is the fifth and final issue of IDW Publishing's My Little Pony: Camp Bighoof comic miniseries. In this issue, Sunny Starscout and Zipp Storm successfully find Bighoof but wrestle with the decision of revealing its existence to the world.
Summary[]
Sunny Starscout and Zipp Storm are stunned by the sudden appearance of Bighoof. They initially fear that it is vicious, but it turns out to be docile and drawn to Zipp's cheesy snacks. Sunny and Zipp are overjoyed to have finally found proof of Bighoof's existence and excited by the potential fame that such a scientific discovery will bring them. However, not only is it revealed that Bighoof is a mother caring for her child, but the two were separated from the father when the camp entrance collapsed.
Sunny and Zipp realize that the family of Bighooves would never be safe again if they were revealed to the world. After briefly wrestling with their decision, they decide to destroy their evidence of Bighoof's existence and sneak her and her child out of the camp so their family can be together again. Using Zipp's cheese snacks as bait, Sunny and Zipp lure Bighoof and her child across the campsite toward the entrance. By this time, the campers have successfully cleared the entrance of all debris.
In order to sneak Bighoof and her child past the campers, Sunny scares the campers away from the entrance by pretending to be Bighoof herself. Once Bighoof and her child are safely out of the camp, Sunny and Zipp regroup with the rest of their friends and deny there was ever any presence of Bighoof at the camp. As the Mane 5 and campers celebrate their last night at Camp Bighoof, Bighoof and her reunited family take shelter in a cave.
