Dodge Junction

Dodge Junction, or Dodge City, is a town in Equestria that is first featured in the season two episode The Last Roundup. It is located in the middle of the desert and bears an old-western theme similar to Appleloosa. The town's name is a reference to Dodge City, Kansas, a town famous in the United States for its role in the wild frontier of the Old West.

The town's most prominent business is Cherry Hill Ranch, a supplier of red and yellow cherries owned and managed by Cherry Jubilee. When the Mane Six first find Applejack, they decide to help work in the ranch to try and force Applejack into telling them the truth about why she won't return to Ponyville.

Transportation to and from the town includes the aforementioned railroad as well as stallion-pulled stagecoaches.

In the season five episode Party Pooped, Dodge Junction is briefly featured during Pinkie Pie's train ride to the Crystal Empire. The train conductor refers to Dodge Junction as "Dodge City".
