The Evil Enchantress song is a song composed by Pinkie Pie and sung by herself and Fluttershy in Bridle Gossip. The song describes Zecora, who Pinkie Pie believes to be an "evil enchantress". Later in the episode, Pinkie Pie's tongue swells due to the effects of poison joke, and she is unable to perform the song. She begs Fluttershy to sing it, but since Fluttershy's own voice has become deep and masculine due to poison joke, her rendition is quite different. A video of the song is available on Hasbro's website.
Fluttershy's version of the song, in fitting with her deep "Flutterguy" voice, is sung in the style of beat poetry. It features rhythmic snapping, compared to Pinkie Pie's version which is much faster-paced and excited. There are only very minor differences between the lyrics for each version.
Neither of the two versions of this song were produced or composed by Daniel Ingram; some of the shorter songs in season one weren't composed by him.[2]
