Admin Status for KingLazy93

I noticed recently there has been more users vandalizing pages or userpages nore recently and just today a user has vandalized quite a lot of pages user pages today and I was on chat recently trying to call out for admin's help and I didn't seem to get a response from the admin. As well there has been past moments where users have abused mulitple socks on chat and the mods have no power to stop a user from creating new acccounts and it mostly takes a long time for an admin to respond to this. I myself has helped keep the wiki safe from vandals from vandalisng the pages even furthur as such this and this as well stoppped users from creating sock accounts.

Honestly I think it's best I become admin again since I'm always there to block users from vandalism as well delete innaproriate stuff on this wiki and I have learned from my past and only wish to regain them to help on this wiki. -  Zeiluse ^Talkpage  02:54, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

Support As you are on at a time that there is less amount of Admins are on, This adminship would be able to fit that time slot perfectly and stop vandalizing sprees like that one quoted. Rift Cyra .flow 03:00, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

Weak oppose - This wiki is not known for vandals, and two does not make a lot. Anyone can undo vandalism, you don't have to be a sysop to perform said operation. I just feel that it's much too early after what's happened previously.  Food Foodbandlt  03:38, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

At food, you should at least take your part if a vandal is causing great damage to pages you should at least take action in blocking the user from preventaing any more damage as well I am seeing more less admins editing as well meaning this is a sign. -  Zeiluse ^Talkpage  03:46, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

I was at the movies at the time, and the vandalism stopped and was undone swiftly with or without me personally being here. I blocked Trevor the Terror as soon as I got home and sat down to see the vandalism on Special:RecentChanges. Things get done over time, they don't always have to happen immediately. If the vandalism continued, you still have a list of people you could've contacted to stop it, that you didn't have to in this case because it stopped just as quickly as it started. Oppose If there's ever a vandal going around like that again, you have rollback, and if there's more than one vandal, then the trick of going back to the last good edit, clicking "edit", and then "publish" works wonders. And if the vandal needs blocking urgently and no one's around, put in an urgent request at the VSTF wiki; that's pretty much their job, preventing vandalism and spam, and they have a pretty fast response time (at least, in my experience). And I'm sorry, but the issues that made me support your sysop rights removal last time, while they have improved, are still there, which makes me unable to support your RfA at this time.

Let's use this for an example, Would there be time enough if there was a anon creating countless ammounts of pages that were pure hate on a subject, would that be in my hands to fall to delete or control? -  Zeiluse ^Talkpage  04:03, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

It would fall into the hands of whoever sees it first and has the necessary rights to remove those pages. I don't want to throw scenarios, those are kind of like pointless "what-ifs". Also I don't understand how it's too soon since on the forum page we are getting mods recently since we already have enough to take control of it as well the user onefourseven was given many chances and yet it's not soon to take away his status? Let's stay on topic here. Oneforseven is on his second chance. He messed up, and was given that second chance. I'm not sure what many chances you are referring to. Your reasoning is straying a little off course from the original topic. Based on the revoking of your rights on being on July 19th (roughly), I say that it is too early to reinstate them. Look here from 8:53, August 12, 2012 through 4:11, August 13, 2012, The user OfficialRainbowDash has created more than 10 socks on this day and you were presented on the chat and were called upon to block the user's socks and yet with no response. This only makes things worse for mods since they have to deal with the problem and without an admin's support, the user has many opprotunites to make them. -  Zeiluse ^Talkpage  04:22, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

Can you explain to me how me or another admin being there would've changed that outcome in any way? The original account is blocked with account creation disabled. There is nothing more that we can do than that other than ban his newly created sock accounts, which was done very swiftly by the attending chat moderators. Everything looks to be working the way that it should, except for account creation being disabled and what-not.  Food Foodbandlt  04:30, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

For the love...now I see your just wanting to avoid the subject yourself and you fail to see what I'm trying to point at. We need better working admins rather than just asking on the same one over and over and seeing as I how did a good job on my admin part I managed to get a lot of things finished which is why I believe I should be an admin. -  Zeiluse ^Talkpage  04:36, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

Comment If you use Firefox, get Multi Links addon. You right-click and drag to open multiple links in new tabs. Eliminates dozens of edits at once using rollback.  EvergreenFir  04:53, August 18, 2012 (UTC)

As an alternative, you can set the mouse middle button/wheel to open links in a new tab and then then click as many rollback links as needed. Teyandee (Talk) 05:02, August 18, 2012 (UTC)
