I was wondering, the Allusions page has its own bullet for mythology, but it is very small; compared to the amount of mythology scattered about on the allusions page. should mythology from all around the world be under this section, or only mythology of Greek/Roman origin?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Verruck (talk • contribs)
- Well, any mythology that you can show to be specifically referenced by the show should be added; it's just that Greek/Roman mythology is probably the most well known type of mythology, and as such, it's easier to demonstrate a connection. However, if you know your stuff, and can demonstrate how it's a specific reference to this or that piece of mythology, there's no reason it shouldn't be added. -- This is Jonny Manz, signing off! 01:52, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
- From what I can see, there is no separate section for mythology. What you probably mean is a subsection of "multiple episodes"; only mythology that covers more than one episode should go there, really. And of course mythology doesn't have to be Greek/Roman/Norse, though given that the creators are primarily white and Northern American, there probably aren't all that many intentional allusions to non-European mythologies.--Tulipclaymore 03:05, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
