This has been happening to me for almost a week. When I get notified of a change or a comment on an article I'm watching, it tends to be around 2-7 hours after that change or comment is made. I think this may be a problem on Wikia's end. Do you think you could have a word with them about it and get it fixed? GamerBoi42 (talk) 07:14, August 9, 2014 (UTC)
Comment What e-mail site are you using? I think this is a problem of the e-mail site itself rather than the Wikia since it happened to me on other sites as well since the start of the year.07:21, August 9, 2014 (UTC)
Yahoo! Mail. And what you say seems to make sense because when I check the e-mails first thing in the morning, it says that they arrived in my inbox at a time that they didn't actually arrive (e.g. an e-mail notification supposedly arrived at 10:22pm when it didn't in real time). - You can Contact them yourself, we can't do anything more than you can.
I've got the same problem, but it doesn't… well… bug me that much. About week ago I've stopped getting any notifications altogether. After contacting the staff, it turned out my e-mail had been bounced for unknown reason and the server ceased to send any further e-mails to me. After fixing that, it happened again the next day. I've been using that e-mail for Wikia's e-mails since I registered 2 years ago, but I thought it could be provider's fault and changed my Wikia e-mail to GMail. Now the notifications arrive with delay and in batches (with real arrive date, unlike GamerBoi's), but at least they do arrive – that's enough for me, even if not ideal. The last few ones arrived immediately, so perhaps it has been fixed for me. Vengir (talk) 13:44, August 10, 2014 (UTC)
