I've seen {{Fairuse}} used on some image pages, and it's used on quite a few, but very inconsistently. I don't remember seeing anything saying that it should be used for show images, so I haven't been using it. Should it be used in all cases or not? If not, I think a bot should go through and remove it from show images for consistency. ~Bobogoobo (talk new) | 12:26, July 11, 2012

All copyrighted images must be used under a free license or under the provisions of fair use. Probably about 99% of the copyrights of the images on the wiki belong to Hasbro, and must be used under the provisions of fair use. –Throwawaytv 12:42, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
Well then couldn't we just put a disclaimer to that effect on the main page or something, rather than having to put a template on 19,000-plus images? ~Bobogoobo (talk new) | 12:45, July 11, 2012
I think that legally, it needs to be explicitly stated for each and every image individually. I doubt we are going to get sued by Hasbro, which is why this subject is pretty low-priority and not strictly enforced. –Throwawaytv 12:54, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
