[Meghan McCarthy at New York ComicCon 2012 My Little Pony panel. McCarthy says she described Chrysalis as a "black pegacorn with a gnarled horn" in the script, then she says pegacorns are now alicorns, but it seems like she's joking to me. Even if she was serious, the show still takes precendent over production material, and neither "pegacorn" nor "alicorn" are ever used. So, "pegacorn" appears in official material, but the preferred terms are still "unicorn" (show), "Princess Pony" (toys), or "Pegasus unicorn" (promotional material). –PonyNews 14:14, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
