The source on why she's evil[]
So Cozy's in Tartarus now, how do ya think Cozy's parents will feel about that? It's likely for her to come back in season 9 as a villain once again. She could be teaming up with Tirek, and maybe even Chrysalis and Grogar since Grogar is said to make a debut next season! If Cozy turns out to be the leader of the evil syndicate, we can expect her to be the main baddie. But why did she become bad in the first place? How could a sweet little filly like Cozy Glow turn out to be so evil?
Well let's get back to my question on how Cozy's parents will feel about it? My theory: her parents abandoned her and she's an orphan, and she tried making friends, but maybe they find her to be weird, so they keep abandoning her. This could be why Cozy makes fake friends just to use them to take over, and then abandon them shortly after. She doesn't trust anyone, and she became evil and wants to take over to make up for the years of pain ponies keep getting her, even from her most trusted friends and family.
To connect this with the theory of Spike being the 7th Element of Harmony, he too is an orphan, and still never found his parents! We've seen certain ponies and dragons use him as well, and yet, he never turned evil cause he knows who his true friends and family are! So this could be that once Cozy Glow gets defeated in the series finale, Spike's gonna be the one to reform her! Adopt her as a family member, and promise to never abandon her! Will Cozy believe it? Well, Spike's smart, he could think of something to convince her! It could reflect with Twilight reforming Starlight, cause it seems alot of what's happened later in the series is that Spike is reflecting upon what Twilight's been doing! --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 00:16, September 9, 2018 (UTC)
- It would be interesting to see Cozy's parents-if they're still around-and find out what role they may have had in their daughter's villainous path, whether by their presence of lack thereof. Certainly, something must have made her desire power, and after seeing all the victories Twilight and co. have achieved over great evils she came to see friendship as that power. https://twitter.com/emberslament/status/1170378628682539009 mentioned on 7 sept 2019 that a friend highlighted the similarities that CG had to Bay Breeze and Coco Pommel. Is it plausible they could've inspired CG? I realize those are both fillies but this is a magical world and if you can use magic to transform into humans, temporarily 'going colt' to have a baby is probably possible too. - First off, who is Bay Breeze? :Second off, you said “inspired”, not “are the parents of”. Any physical similarities aren’t really any sort of indication; plenty of related characters in the franchise look nothing alike.—Kilmarnock228 (talk) 02:48, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
