The Crystal Empire - Part 2[]
- This is the first episode of the series in which a major antagonist is actually "destroyed" as opposed to being chased off or imprisoned.
- Although there are theories regarding Nightmare Moon as a manifestation of Luna's dark side, and that Chrysalis fell to her doom (unless you view the comics as canon), but Sombra is the first official time. Ghostkaiba297 (talk) 21:09, March 17, 2013 (UTC)

Too Many Pinkie Pies[]
- Second time the phrase "wide, wide world of Equestria", or a variant thereof, is spoken by Twilight Sparkle. First time was in "Feeling Pinkie Keen" also by the same character. Prince Silversaddle (talk) 17:29, March 23, 2014 (UTC)
- This is one of the first and few times a fan-named character (Lyra in this case)'s name is mentioned and her fan personalty is hinted to be true, as one of the Pinkie clones mentioned her and states she taught her how to warren fingers, blowing on hooves (Or at least a specific spot that is) creates them temporarily. Likely referencing most fans imagine her being a human expert.
- The Pinkie Clone only said "Look what I can do with my hooves!", and on the transcription article, not a single "Lyra", "Heartstrings" can be found. But it's still most likely a reference to the fandom's human fanatic Lyra. Also, on the Lyra Heartstrings article, it's also stated that "Her name is not mentioned on the show".

- When Applejack, Rarity, Big Macintosh (dressed as Applejack), Granny Smith (also Applejack), and baby Applejack and Rarity are doing a magic trick near the end of the episode, baby Applejack and baby Rarity might be Pound and Pumpkin Cake. If this is true, Pumpkin Cake does not appear without her brother. Also, for an unknown reason, Granny Smith should've been painted to look like Rarity.
- That was Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 16:02, July 6, 2014 (UTC)
