Season six
The Crystalling - Part 1
- Second season premiere taking place in the Crystal Empire after... if you don't know by now there must be something really wrong with you.
- Second episode in the Flurry Heart arc after The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows. --these two stats by Mega Sean 45 (talk) 21:20, January 28, 2016 (UTC)
- Also follows the Starlight Glimmer arc as well.
--http://i.imgur.com/O0fKO6t.png (talk · edits) http://i.imgur.com/mzGuUgk.png 03:34, March 29, 2016 (UTC)
- Also follows the Starlight Glimmer arc as well.
- First appearance of Flurry Heart. -Prince Goldstreak (talk) 19:04, March 15, 2016 (UTC)
- First time that Josh Haber has written a two-part finale (Season 5) and a two-part premiere (Season 6). -Prince Goldstreak (talk) 15:06, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- And also gets a story credit and a writer credit for "My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games" too. -Prince Goldstreak (talk) 15:58, April 2, 2016 (UTC)
- This is the second time a story arc starts in the season before the climax episode, first being Games Ponies Play being the beginning of the Equestria Games arc. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 15:54, March 16, 2016 (UTC)
- What story arc? 15:58, March 16, 2016 (UTC)
- Earlier I already said this is the second episode of the Flurry Heart story-arc. The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows last season begins the arc because Shining and Cadance claim they are having a baby, which is Flurry Heart, and she's finally born in this episode. It's just like Games Ponies Play started up the Equestria Games arc, and then the next season after that, Flight to the Finish and Rainbow Falls continued the arc, and then came Equestria Games. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 16:02, March 16, 2016 (UTC)
- What story arc? 15:58, March 16, 2016 (UTC)
- Second appearance of Sunburst; first time as a fully grown stallion. -Prince Goldstreak (talk) 16:18, March 16, 2016 (UTC)
- First time a first-parter ends with different end credit music. - Jasonbres (talk) 18:17, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- Third time that both two part openers feature no songs after The Return of Harmony and Princess Twilight Sparkle. - CAPRAFILMS (talk) 00:44, March 28, 2016 (UTC)
- Also, first time Starlight stars in a 2-parter that she doesn't sing anything. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 22:47, April 8, 2016 (UTC)
- A pattern seems to be emerging. Thus far, all of the odd-numbered season premieres have featured songs, while none of the even-numbered premieres have. Raymondluxuryacht (talk) 23:10, April 10, 2016 (UTC)
- This is the second first part of a 2-parter where Twilight is not seen flying, following Twilight's Kingdom - Part 1. It's also the first time she doesn't fly this season. Fear Not! (talk) 03:06, April 9, 2016 (UTC)
- The second episode in which Pinkie Pie hangs onto a flying baby, after Baby Cakes. --Scrounge (talk) 00:31, April 10, 2016 (UTC)
The Crystalling - Part 2
- This is the sixth episode in a row whose name starts with "The", the longest streak so far. Xannot Talk 21:41, March 6, 2016 (UTC)
- First episode where Twilight Velvet and Night Light speak! --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 16:00, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- And this also marks their first non-flashback appearance in the series. -Prince Goldstreak (talk) 16:19, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- Nope. They were in A Canterlot Wedding - Part 2 and Magical Mystery Cure, and that was present during the time. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 16:21, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- And this also marks their first non-flashback appearance in the series. -Prince Goldstreak (talk) 16:19, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- Second episode Tara Strong voices someone other than Twilight, first being Testing Testing 1, 2, 3. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 16:06, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- Second episode where the main characters become crystal ponies. - Jasonbres (talk) 18:16, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- First time for Celestia and Luna since they were in Canterlot when it happened with Sombra's demise. - User:SonictheHedgehog1245 http://orig15.deviantart.net/7baa/f/2015/360/8/5/equestria_girls___daydream_shimmer_by_botchan_mlp-d9lisoh.gifSonictheHedgehog1245http://orig13.deviantart.net/5959/f/2015/299/8/b/equestria_girls___dean_cadance_walking_by_botchan_mlp-d9d67zo.gif 22:28, March 28, 2016 (UTC)
- And the first time for Sunburst, Starlight, and Flurry Heart as well. Vengir (talk • contributions) 22:33, March 28, 2016 (UTC)
- Right, my bad on not including that. Thanks, Vengir. Also, I forgot to add on that while this is the second time for Twilight, it is the first time for her as an alicorn since last time she was a unicorn when it happened. http://orig15.deviantart.net/7baa/f/2015/360/8/5/equestria_girls___daydream_shimmer_by_botchan_mlp-d9lisoh.gifSonictheHedgehog1245http://orig13.deviantart.net/5959/f/2015/299/8/b/equestria_girls___dean_cadance_walking_by_botchan_mlp-d9d67zo.gif 22:47, March 28, 2016 (UTC)

- Second season premiere where there wasn't a villain after the season four premiere (unless you count the Plunderseeds). --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 19:08, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- First two-part episode where the threat isn't caused by a villain, seeing as how the Plunderseeds were created by Discord. In this instance it's a combination of out-of-control magic and a snowstorm. KillRoy231 (talk) 04:36, April 10, 2016 (UTC)
- Second season premiere where a threat to the Crystal Empire is destroyed by the Crystal Heart, and third time we see its power (second being Games Ponies Play). KillRoy231 (talk) 04:36, April 10, 2016 (UTC)
- First two-parter not to focus on Twilight. Don't get me wrong, Twilight does play a major role in the episode, but it's more of a supporting role. Much of the focus is instead on Starlight Glimmer. - Jasonbres (talk) 19:13, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- Second consecutive season premiere where the situation is resolved by someone outside the main cast. (The villagers in "The Cutie Map" and Sunburst in this episode. Raymondluxuryacht (talk) 12:20, March 27, 2016 (UTC)
- Third overall counting Shining Armor and Princess Cadance in the season two finale. -Prince Goldstreak (talk) 15:07, March 28, 2016 (UTC)
- Or Crusaders of the Lost Mark… or Slice of Life (not talking about bugbear)… or Brotherhooves Social… or probably some more episodes. Vengir (talk • contributions) 15:14, March 28, 2016 (UTC)
- Those are stand alone episodes, not two-parters. Therefore, those don't count. -Prince Goldstreak (talk) 16:10, March 28, 2016 (UTC)
- Your season two finale isn't a season premiere either. So? I had the right to assume you meant all episodes overall if you didn't specify that you meant two-parters, right? :) Vengir (talk • contributions) 18:01, March 28, 2016 (UTC)

The Gift of the Maud Pie
- Second third episode where a duo of new writers is introduced. The first was Season 5's "Castle Sweet Castle", written by Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco.
- Third third episode where at least one new writer is introduced. First is back in Season 4's "Castle Mane-ia" (written by Josh Haber) and second is, of course, the episode I mentioned earlier (Castle Sweet Castle). --these two stats by Prince Goldstreak (talk) 15:58, April 2, 2016 (UTC)
- Second episode with Maud Pie's name on it, and third episode she plays a major role in after her first episode and Hearthbreakers.
- And her fourth speaking role overall, adding in "Make New Friends but Keep Discord". Raymondluxuryacht (talk) 11:22, April 3, 2016 (UTC)
- Seventh episode in a row with the word 'the' in the beginning. --these two stats by Mega Sean 45 (talk) 00:20, March 14, 2016 (UTC)
- This is the second no. 3 episode in a season where neither Twilight herself or all of the Mane 6 are centered around. The first being Too Many Pinkie Pies in season 3. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smv18 (talk • contribs)
- Hey it could still be centered around a Mane Six pony AND Maud still. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 00:52, March 14, 2016 (UTC)

- Second third episode centered around Pinkie Pie after her most obnoxious episode. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 02:35, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
- The phrase "her most obnoxious episode" is an expression of an opinion, not a statistic.Herculine (talk) 05:21, April 4, 2016 (UTC)
- First episode someone questions my stat over a joke instead of an error. :P --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 19:56, April 6, 2016 (UTC)

- Maud's singing debut. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 15:27, April 1, 2016 (UTC)
- First third episode of a season without the complete main cast appearing.
- First third episode of a season when Ponyville does not appear.
- Second appearance of Suri Polomare in the main series (third if counting Friendship Games).
- Second season where a small song is sung before an actual song, after Season 2 with the Nightmare Night chant coming before Find A Pet Song.
- Second episode when the Planes, Trains, and Automobile ponies, and the Home Alone mom pony appears after Hearthbreakers. --these five stats by Mega Sean 45 (talk) 16:00, April 2, 2016 (UTC)
- Another episode where the end credit music is different. With this being a occurrence in the first and second episode, this could mean that this season will not have the default MLP End Credit Music.

- Fourth episode where neither Twilight nor Applejack appear, following "Putting Your Hoof Down", "Flight to the Finish", and "Rarity Investigates!". Raymondluxuryacht (talk) 02:44, April 3, 2016 (UTC)

--http://i.imgur.com/O0fKO6t.png (talk · edits) http://i.imgur.com/mzGuUgk.png 04:48, April 3, 2016 (UTC)- There are plenty of other episodes where one of the two was absent, but these are the only ones where *neither* of the two appears. I thought it was significant since they're the most frequently used characters. Raymondluxuryacht (talk) 11:22, April 3, 2016 (UTC)

- Of all the redeedmed villains, Discord is the only one who has worn the most clothing in episodes and first male to wear pants. User:Donald634 20:30 June 9,2015
- Wasn't there a tennis pony wearing pants in Call of the Cutie? Vengir (talk • contributions) 22:21, April 13, 2016 (UTC)

- So far, in every musical episode somepony gets their cutie mark. Vengir (talk) 21:03, October 13, 2015 (UTC)
- What about Pinkie Pride? As far as Magical Mystery Cure goes, I don't know if that really counts since ponies were getting their cutie marks back, not receiving them for the first time.-- Jonny Manztalkcontribse-mailedit count 23:11, October 13, 2015 (UTC)
- Season five is the first full season where Spike wasn't the one to have the fewer amount of appearance as the rest of the mane cast. That title this season belongs to Fluttershy. --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 16:37, November 21, 2015 (UTC)

- The largest character to appear in the series is Dragon Lord Torch. Seabreeze's child is the smallest. --Scrounge (talk) 07:23, April 17, 2016 (UTC)
- There is a possibility that fully-powered Tirek might have been larger. It would be nice if someone could do a comparison. Vengir (talk • contributions) 21:47, April 28, 2016 (UTC)
- All three male villains (Discord, King Sombra, and Lord Tirek) were imprisoned by both Celestia and Luna a thousand years ago. Nightmare Moon was imprisoned by only Celestia (as she is Luna), the Dazzlings were banished by Starswirl the Bearded, and Queen Chrysalis, Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, and Principal Cinch never had a thousand-year backstory (except in the comics in Chrysalis's case where she was imprisoned in a volcano by Celestia).
