I'd like to personally recommend Flashimmer for the role of image control. Flashimmer makes good and valuable contributions to the filespace and with the lack of active image controllers, I feel their rights would be put to good use. Notably, the ability to add a bot flag so their edits don't clog up recent changes. Their edits on the filespace speak for themselves. Thanks,

Support Has already been told on his talk page but there is no need for him to change the orders of categories. Apart from that I see no issues that would prevent the user from becoming an image controller. --~StyyxTalk? ^-^ 17:28, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Oppose With no disrespect to Flashimmer's broad and helpful contributions to the wiki, I don't think these rights are warranted at this time. I don't have confidence that they would be used appropriately. Flashimmer often needs to be reminded of procedures on the wiki and tends to undo revisions just because they're changing something. Having so recent a reminder about flooding RC with cosmetic code changes is an issue to this nomination for me. I don't remember seeing them do much in the way of what image control would be needed for, but it's very possible I overlooked it. ~Bobogoobo (talk)

- As far as I can see the user has acknowledged their mistake, and to be completely honest I don't find flooding RC with somewhat constructive (not fully) that much of a big deal. About the undo's, I've had this issue with him in the past and I still do see him continue doing it sometimes. The thing is, that's something that should be said for opposing Rollback rights and is sort of irrelevant for Image Control.
- I think Flashimmer has made enough edits to files in recent dates for him to have this right granted: put some of them up for deletion (btw is Category:Candidates for deletion actually checked?), categorizing them etc. --~StyyxTalk? ^-^ 14:44, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- I completely get where you're coming from with this Bobo, honestly I do. I too had a lot of reservations when I saw Flashimmer on the Wiki but I truly believe that their intentions are in the right place. I feel image control offers a stepping stone into user rights, it doesn't give Flashimmer the ability to do anything other than activate a bot flag and delete images.
