My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #101, also titled Season 10 Episode 13 and The Knights of Harmony - Part 1,[1] is the one hundred and first issue of IDW Publishing's Friendship is Magic comic series. It is the thirteenth installment of the comics' "Season 10", taking place after the series' season nine. In the issue, The Knights of Harmony arrive in Equestria to take the Elements of Harmony from the Mane Six.
An event partially based on the issue, "Welcome to Ornithia", was included in Gameloft's mobile game.
Summary[]
Following the conclusion of the previous issue, Twilight Sparkle and her friends prepare Canterlot for an imminent attack by the Knights of Harmony. The citizens are led to shelter inside the castle; Princess Cadance, Star Swirl the Bearded, and Discord magically shield the city; Spike sends emergency letters to the various kingdoms where Trees of Harmony were recently discovered; and Shining Armor commands an army that includes Tempest Shadow, Rockhoof, Big McIntosh, Flash Magnus, and the royal guards.
Twilight goes to the castle, where Applejack, Rarity, and Mage Meadowbrook are taking care of Rainbow Dash after her crash entrance, and they are joined by Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Spike after the evacuation efforts are completed. All of a sudden, the ground starts to shake, and when the Mane Six go outside to investigate, they are rained on by heavy water. Shining Armor tells Twilight that someone outside the city's force field wants to speak with her alone.
At the outer edge of Canterlot, Twilight meets with Danu, the king of Cunabula and the leader of the Knights of Harmony. He agrees to spare Canterlot if the Mane Six surrender their Elements of Harmony, but Twilight says the Elements were destroyed and that their magic lives within the Mane Six now. The other Knights of Harmony then appear, with Danu declaring any who have the Elements' magic within them must be destroyed. With his power over earth, Danu digs underneath the force field, allowing him and the rest of the Knights to invade.
Twilight races back to the castle while Shining Armor and his forces face the Knights of Harmony head-on. Taranis, the Knights' element of pride, blows the ponies away with his power over wind. Mannah, the element of acceptance, washes them away with his power over water. Danu, the element of loyalty, cracks the ground beneath them with his earth powers. Ceridwen, the element of equity, uses her size-changing powers to shrink Big McIntosh. Balor, the element of magic, uses his powers to disable Shining Armor's unicorn magic. As the ponies fall one-by-one, Morrigan, the element of faith, uses her magic to put them under her mind control.
Twilight returns to the castle and informs her friends that the Knights of Harmony have arrived. She explains that the Knights seek to destroy anyone with the magic of the Elements of Harmony within them, and Meadowbrook realizes this would also include herself and the other Pillars of Old Equestria. The Mane Six are horrified when they realize this would also include the Young Six, and they race to the students' rescue. Unfortunately, the Knights of Harmony and the mind-controlled ponies have already found and captured the Young Six, and Danu demands that Twilight and her friends surrender.

- Twilight Sparkle: You don't have to do this! As queen, I've been trying to reach out to other countries. We want to be friends--
- Danu: Ironic. That was the same thing that nearly brought the downfall of our country, and now it will bring the downfall of yours.
- Tempest Shadow: If you can get two, I bet I can take the other four.
- Rockhoof: I shall show you the might of my shovel, friend Tempest. Count yourself lucky if I leave you any.
- Flash Magnus: It's an honor to fight alongside you. Are you ready, Big Macintosh?
- Big McIntosh: Yup!
- Danu: Taranis, would you like to begin?
- Taranis: That only seems fitting, my liege--I do represent the element of pride after all. And though they don't know it yet, pride is about to be their downfall. In fact, I think they'll be--blown away!

- Shining Armor: My magic! I can't use my magic!
- Balor: I know. Great trick, isn't it?
- Morrigan: You poor, fallen, broken ponies. You must feel so alone. Abandoned here by your queen. Forced to fight a war in which you never stood a chance. You should serve me. I will take far better care of you.
- Royal guards: Yes, Morrigan.
- Mage Meadowbrook: Last time y'all used the power of the Elements, we were able to help you, and Rockhoof's out there right now!
- Spike: That's right! The energy went to you and...
- Mane Six, Spike, and Mage Meadowbrook: THE KIDS!
- Danu: Hello again, princess. Perhaps this time you'll stay put long enough for me to tell you a story.
