Josh Haber is an animation writer in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. He has also written two My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks animated shorts and My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games. He is the lead story editor for season six, from Secrets and Pies to the end of season seven, and from the The Last Laugh onward. He was also the co-story editor alongside Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco from Daring Done? to Once Upon a Zeppelin and also co-edited with Nicole Dubuc from season eight to Between Dark and Dawn.

Haber initially became involved with the show through series co-executive producer Meghan McCarthy. During Haber's work on Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, Kaijudo co-creator and story editor Henry Gilroy sent some of Haber's spec scripts to McCarthy. McCarthy later met with Haber personally and tasked him with writing a first draft for Castle Mane-ia.[1][2][3]

Prior to working on My Little Pony, Haber had written three episodes for Kaijudo.

In acting, Haber starred in the 2001 web series Siren and the 2009 independent film The Assistants, and he has had guest roles on Gilmore Girls and Everwood.

Haber has also served as an assistant of original programming for HBO, and he wrote and produced the web series The Institute for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
