Kimiko Glenn is an American actress and voice actress. She provides the voice of Izzy Moonbow in the Netflix animated film My Little Pony: A New Generation.
Glenn's involvement in the film was first announced on June 30, 2021.[1] Friends in real life with fellow cast member Liza Koshy, neither knew about the other's involvement until about a year into the film's production;[2] Koshy recorded her lines in Houston, and Glenn recorded her lines in Los Angeles.[3]
Outside My Little Pony, Glenn is best known for portraying Brook Soso in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, for which she received three Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Glenn is a prominent voice actress with roles in multiple animated films and television shows, including We Bare Bears, BoJack Horseman, Sofia the First, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Summer Camp Island, and The Lion Guard. Among her most notable roles are Lena Sabrewing in the 2017 reboot of DuckTales, Peni Parker in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the title role in the English dub of Baby Shark's Big Show!, Bridgette Yoshida in Close Enough, and Horse in Centaurworld.
In stage theater, Glenn portrayed Thea in Spring Awakening and Dawn Pinkett in Waitress. She also starred in the 2016 film Nerve and the 2018 film Can You Keep a Secret? In live-action television, she guest-starred on Married and Broad City.
In 2018, Glenn began starring as Harlow in the comedy web series Liza on Demand, co-created by Koshy.
