Lena Hall is an American actress and singer. In My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, she provides the voice of Coloratura.

Hall's involvement in the series was first teased when she concluded a Tony Award 2014 acceptance speech with "Friendship is magic!", which she later confirmed to be a shout-out to My Little Pony.[1][2]

On October 27, 2014, Hall officially confirmed on Twitter that she recorded dialogue for the season five episode The Mane Attraction.[3] On December 2, 2014, Hall posted on Twitter and Instagram a brief video of her recording session for The Magic Inside.[4][5]

Outside My Little Pony, Hall is an Award-winning actress and singer. She debuted on Broadway under the name Celina Carvajal in 2000 as Demeter in Cats. She later played Anytime Annie in a revival of 42nd Street, and she understudied for Kelli O'Hara in Dracula: The Musical and Jennifer Gambatese in Tarzan: The Musical. In 2013, she originated the role of Nicola in the Cyndi Lauper musical Kinky Boots, and in 2014, she originated the role of Yitzhak in the Broadway revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, for which she won a Tony Award for "Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical". In 2016, she joined Darren Criss on the Hedwig tour not only reprising her role as Yitzhak, but also performing select shows as Hedwig herself, making her the first female performer to portray the title role.

In television and film, Hall competed on the MTV reality series Legally Blonde – The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods in 2008. She has also appeared in Sex and the City, All My Children, The Graduates, and Good Girls Revolt.

In September 2015, Hall started going on a national tour with multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban.
