Lolly-Pop and Little Miss Fortune are the tenth episode of the second season of My Little Pony: Pony Life and the thirty-sixth episode overall.
In Lolly-Pop, Fluttershy is excited to finally live out her dream of becoming a clown at the traveling carnival, but Applejack is terrified of clowns.
In Little Miss Fortune, a carnival fortune-telling machine gives Rainbow Dash some bad news.

Summary[]
Lolly-Pop[]
At the Crystal Empire Carnival, Flim and Flam are selling clown makeup kits to carnival-goers, and Fluttershy sees this as an opportunity to fulfill her childhood dream of becoming a clown. After buying a makeup kit, she starts performing under the name "Lolly-Pop" and signs up to perform later in the Clown Jamboree. Upon seeing Fluttershy in clown makeup, Applejack leaves in a hurry. When confronted by Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie, Applejack confesses she has been terrified of clowns since she was little. Applejack's friends try to help her conquer this fear by dressing her up as a clown herself, but she gets scared of her own mirror reflection.
Later, when the time comes for Fluttershy to perform in the Clown Jamboree, Twilight and Pinkie explain Applejack's situation to her, and Fluttershy decides not to be a clown anymore. When Twilight and Pinkie inform Applejack of this development, Applejack realizes Fluttershy became a clown to bring ponies joy. She urges Fluttershy to perform in the jamboree, as she is willing to face her fears in order for Fluttershy to realize her childhood dream. Fluttershy takes the stage as the final performer in the Clown Jamboree. When she starts to mess up during her clown act, Applejack puts on a clown nose and goes on stage to assist her.
Little Miss Fortune[]
On the final day of the Crystal Empire Carnival, the Mane Six come across an old fortune-telling machine and take turns drawing fortunes. Rainbow Dash's fortune says, "Life is like a traveling circus. Stay in motion, or the fun will end." When her friends' fortunes start coming true, Rainbow fears hers will come true as well, so she decides to join the carnival's traveling circus in order to "stay in motion". She meets with circus ringmaster Shining Armor, and he decides to give her a chance.
Under the stage name "Danger Dash", Rainbow Dash attempts several circus acts, including walking a tightrope while blindfolded, speeding around a globe of death without a motorcycle, and pretending to be a manticore. While she fails at all of these acts, she realizes that whenever she is with her friends, her life is a constant rollercoaster of fun and things never stop moving. Therefore, her bad fortune can never come true. Rainbow Dash's friends are thrilled that she is not leaving them to join a traveling circus, and the episode ends with her giving a smaller-scale circus performance for the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
