Morning in Ponyville is the first of the seven songs featured in the season three finale, Magical Mystery Cure. It was revealed in an exclusive preview on Entertainment Weekly a day before the episode's original airdate.[1] It is reminiscent of the song Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin' from the musical Oklahoma!. This song ties with Hearth's Warming Eve Is Here Once Again, from the season six episode A Hearth's Warming Tail, for having the earliest appearance in any episode, starting right when the episode itself starts. It is featured in the third episode of PonyChat.
