My Little Pony: Camp Bighoof is a limited-run Hasbro-licensed series of full-color comics by IDW Publishing. Based on My Little Pony Generation 5, it centers on the Mane 5 reopening an old camp to teach foals about their magic. Issue #5 was released as the last issue in the series.
"Welcome, campers, to Camp Bighoof! The Mane 5 have taken over an old camp, named after the elusive Bighoof creature (Bridlesquatch if you're a unicorn, Zeti if you're a Pegasus), to teach fillies and colts about their powers. Plus, arts & crafts with Izzy, singing with Pipp, obstacle courses with Zipp, what could be better?! Surely nothing could go wrong, right? RIGHT?!"
"The campers are going to be spending s'more time together because...they're trapped! Turns out, a lot can go wrong when young ponies are learning to use their magic. But not to worry! Camp director Hitch will make sure the entrance is clear and that everypony still has time for arts and crafts. And the roaring you hear totally isn't a mysterious and possibly dangerous oversized bipedal creature...nope!"
"Doo doodoo doo! Goood morning, campers. Today's agenda includes continuing to clear the entrance and performances with Pipp. Oh, and don't forget to clean up after yourself. The counselors keep finding cheese-puff dust in the cafeteria. Zipp and Sunny continue their search for the elusive Bighoof after catching the smallest glimpse of it. If only they could just snap a picture to prove Bighoof exists! Meanwhile, the campers struggle to get a handle on their magic."
"Bighoof, BIGHOOF, BIGHOOF! Bighoof has been spotted in Camp Bighoof! Did Sunny and Zipp imagine it, or was it eating cheese puffs in the cafeteria?! But it's their only lead so they leave behind the cameras and nets and set out to capture Bighoof using a very scientific method of...setting out cheese puffs until it appears. Hooves crossed that they capture it quickly because the campers are starting to grow scared!"
"Campers, this is it! The entrance is clear, and everypony is ready to go home...after one last campfire! Plus, Sunny and Zipp finally have the evidence they need to prove Bighoof is real and become super famous investigators/scientists/camp counselors. But is there more to life than becoming an investi-sci-counselor-ist? Only Bighoof has the answer...which is unfortunate since she can't talk, but I'm sure our investi-sci-counselor-ists can figure out what "Graaahhh, grrr hrgh grah" means in Bighoof!"
