My Little Pony #15, titled Treehouse Trouble in trade paperback, is the fifteenth issue of IDW Publishing's My Little Pony comic series, based on the Generation 5 film My Little Pony: A New Generation. In this issue, Izzy Moonbow fixes up an old treehouse in Bridlewood to serve as a hangout spot for her and her friends, but something keeps messing up the furniture.
Summary[]
While decorating her home in Bridlewood with recycled objects, Izzy Moonbow accidentally sends one of her decorations flying toward her old treehouse. As she retrieves the decoration, Izzy finds a bunch of animals occupying the treehouse and scares them away. She looks around the old treehouse and decides to fix it up to serve as a hangout for herself and her friends.
As Izzy collects more items to fix up the treehouse with, including couch cushions and a lamp, she decides to keep it a secret from her friends so that she can surprise them later. When she returns to the treehouse, she finds some of the decorations she already put up have been mysteriously taken down. She puts them back up and refurbishes the treehouse further, eventually nodding off to sleep. Unbeknownst to her, the animals she scared out of the treehouse earlier are observing her.
The next morning, Izzy sends a text to her friends asking them to come to Bridlewood for the surprise. She goes to meet up with them when they arrive and shows them to the treehouse. When they enter, they discover that the animals have destroyed all the decorations and furniture. With his animal-communicating ability, Hitch Trailblazer asks the animals why they did this; the animals explain they have come to consider the old treehouse their home.
Having believed the treehouse abandoned, Izzy is mortified to learn that she effectively took over the animals' home, and she abandons her plan to turn it into the Mane 5's hangout. Feeling sorry for Izzy, the animals (using Hitch as their translator) suggest they and the ponies share the treehouse space, much to Izzy's delight. The Mane 5 work together to fix the treehouse back up, with a section of space reserved for the animals to sleep.
