My Little Pony #7, titled Hitch's Dilemma in trade paperback, is the seventh issue of IDW Publishing's My Little Pony comic series, based on the Generation 5 film My Little Pony: A New Generation. In this issue, Hitch Trailblazer looks forward to deejaying for the Harvest Day Celebration, but his constant need to help others and inability to say "no" get in the way.
Summary[]
On the morning of the first day of fall, Maretime Bay is celebrating Harvest Day, and Hitch Trailblazer is looking forward to serving as deejay for that evening's celebration. However, Sunny Starscout appears and asks him to pick up extra rings for the unicorn ring toss booth at the nearby sporting goods store. Hitch, having a compulsive desire to help others, agrees.
After picking up the rings, Hitch heads to the festival grounds to set up his deejaying equipment, but Izzy Moonbow appears needing a favor of her own. Like with Sunny, Hitch is unable to refuse a pony in need and agrees to pick up some arts and crafts supplies for Izzy. Then, when he runs into a concert by Pipp Petals, Pipp ropes Hitch into being her cameraman when her original cameraman is absent. Afterward, Zipp Storm pressures Hitch into being her partner in the festival obstacle course.
As the sun starts to go down, it is almost time for Hitch's deejaying set, and his being preoccupied helping others has left him with little time to set up his equipment. Luckily, his friends (and Sprout) appear to help him set up after he selflessly helped them with their favors earlier. With their help, Hitch is able to put on his Harvest Day dance party as planned.
