My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is a soundtrack album containing nine out of eleven songs from the film, plus a bonus track. It was originally announced to be released on iTunes on September 9, 2014.[1] The following day on September 10, Hasbro explained there was an "unforeseen delay" in the release of the soundtrack.[2] It was released on that same day. On September 18, 2014, the soundtrack placed #15 on the Kid Albums Billboard chart.[3] On October 2, 2014, the album re-entered the chart at #12;[4] a week later on October 9, it moved up and placed #10.[5]
The Spanish version of the soundtrack for some reason, instead of the original track, Music to My Ears, contains an entire mastered audio track from the Spanish version of the music video, including sound effects and dialogues.
