My Little Pony Friends is a song originally written as the end title for My Little Pony Equestria Girls but was passed over in favor of A Friend for Life.^[1]. It was posted on Hasbro's YouTube page on August 12, 2014, and uses footage from Equestria Girls, as well as lyrics and melody from the show's theme song. Composer Daniel Ingram notes that, in Hasbro's original YouTube video, the vocals were out of sync with the music.^[2] The corrected version was uploaded on August 14, 2014.
