Tasks

  • Add and edit articles in the revisions category page
Simply try to change however you can in the pages that need it the most. You may add a page to the given category by placing {{improve|<Reason why the article should be improved (optional)>}} at the top part of the page.
  • Incorporate trivia into the main body of the article
The trivia sections are snippets of information that don't merit a section of their own and don't fit into the existing sections. If they do fit, they should be incorporated into the relevant section as part of the prose.
  • Request for pages as featured articles
Make sure to check the featured articles category page to make sure you will not request an article for the second time.
  • Create redirects
If a search result leads you to an empty page, simply click the "edit" or "add" on the current blank page, type #REDIRECT [[<name of article>]] and click preview. The preview should show "Redirects to <page>". If that appears, click save.

Please remember that article names are case sensitive. "Rainbow Dash" and "Rainbow dash" are two different articles.

Information described from a fictional perspective is inaccurate and tends to be speculative. Descriptions of the show should be from the audience's perspective, treating the show as fiction. Re-writing in-universe sections so that they properly describe the show greatly contributes to the accuracy of the article.
  • Fix Double Redirects
Redirects should not redirect to another redirect page. Fixing this is simple, edit the first redirect page so it redirects to the actual article page.
  • Check the recent changes page
The best way to ensure that you will most of the time correct any new edits and vandalism is to check the Recent Changes page and refresh it every couple of minutes.
  • Fix Orphaned Pages
Orphaned pages are pages that have not been linked from other pages. The best way to get a proper link to an article that is orphaned is to find a more prominent related article and link to the orphaned page from it.
  • Fix Dead end Pages
Pages that do not give any links to another article are dead end pages. Linking them to related topics is useful. Some exceptions are gallery pages, fan labor pages, and speculation pages.
  • Improve images
Some images are distorted, pixelated, downscaled, upscaled, or of low quality. If you have a higher-quality image please upload it to replace the lower-quality one. Make sure you select the proper license for the image and use it with permission or under fair-use stipulations.
  • Create missing category pages
Check the list of missing categories, and check whether the articles in the category are in the right place. If not, update the category links on the article(s) in question. If they are, then add a category page, ensuring that you categorize it so it shows up in the right place in the tree.
