This wiki is a family-friendly resource, especially considering the target audience of the material we cover, and this is partially enforced by Fandom through not allowing edits from anonymous users. Usernames on wiki software appear in multiple places and are visible to any visitor. As such, usernames used to make contributions of any type must be appropriate. This is the policy for acceptable usernames.
Note that if you only read the wiki and don't do anything that causes the software to record your name on this wiki (including logs such as the account creation log), this policy does not necessarily apply. However, all account information and conduct is still subject to the Fandom Terms of Use.
Unacceptable usernames[]
Unacceptable usernames include, but are not limited to, the following:
Disruptive and offensive usernames[]
- Usernames that are likely to offend other editors, such as containing profanities.
- Usernames that contain personal attacks.
- Usernames that describe, invite, or directly pertain to sexual activities.
- Usernames that show a clear intent to disrupt this wiki.
Misleading usernames[]
- Usernames that impersonate other people.
- Usernames that give the impression an account has permissions and/or rights which it does not have.
Promotional usernames[]
- Usernames that intend to promote any person, group, company, product, or website.
Blocking[]
Any violation will immediately result in an indefinite block, which means that you will not be able to contribute to the wiki until you change your username using the User Rename Tool.
If you are the person enforcing the block, you must leave a message on the talk page of the user about the block reason and leave a link to the User Rename Tool.
When the user takes a username which does not violate the policy, they can be unblocked.
