Razer is a male dragon who first appears in Dragonshy. He is unnamed in the show, simply addressed as "Mr. Dragon" by Twilight Sparkle in Dragonshy, trademarked as "Red Dragon" in merchandise, and labeled as "dragon" in Dragonshy's animation, but he is named in other media.
Development and design
"To address worry that things would be too scary, I skewed the dragons kind of pretty at first. Might have been an interesting direction...."[9] "How do you know the dragons in the show WEREN'T female? ;)"[10]
A Maleficent[11]-based development sketch by Lauren Faust "for MLP:FiM 2008 pitch bible"[9] is among various pieces in the library of "007_c05_dragon" under "Critters" from "AssetsLicensor".

In The Ending of the End - Part 2, Razer appears in the Dragon Lands when Smolder addresses the dragons, urging them to go to the aid of Equestria. He is later seen attending Twilight's coronation in The Last Problem.
