Piggy Dance is a song featured in Baby Cakes. Pinkie Pie sings this song in an attempt to make Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake laugh and cheer them up. During the song, she wears a fake pig snout and dances all over Sugarcube Corner. Daniel Ingram and Amy Keating Rogers respectively mentioned on their Facebook and Twitter pages that a longer version of the song, to the "Chicken Dance", was originally intended for The Best Night Ever, but was cut for time.[1][2][3]

The song is featured in Cakes for the Memories during reused footage from Baby Cakes.

Lyrics[]

Piggy Pie S02E12

Pinkie Pie with a pig nose on.

[Pinkie Pie]
First you jiggle your tail! Oink oink oink!
Then you wriggle your snout! Oink oink oink!
Then you wiggle your rump! Oink oink oink!
Then shout it out! Oink oink oink!
[repeat verse two more times getting faster]

Cut lyrics[]

Amy Keating Rogers originally had a different variation of these lyrics, which she sang to the tune of the "Chicken Dance" in an interview with Final Draft for Everfree Radio.[4]

[Pinkie Pie]
First you jiggle your tail, then you wriggle your snout
Then you wiggle your rump. Oink oink oink oink!
(repeat 4x)
Come on and dance just like a piggy
Come on it's easy as can be
Just sing and dance along with Pinkie
It's fun to Piggy Dance with me!
