Sky Stinger is a male Pegasus pony featured in the season six episode Top Bolt.
Depiction in the series
At first, Sky Stinger is shown to be very full of himself with an extreme ego, he wishes to become the best Wonderbolt ever and show off his extreme flying skills.
However, later on it is shown that he is actually a terrible flyer and a joke compared to other cadets at the academy. Sky Stinger was not aware that his image was only possible because of Vapor Trail's assistance in helping him perform.
During Vapor Trail's flashback, Sky Stinger is seen attempting to impress his family but fails badly, after which Vapor Trail helps him perform well.
Eventually, Sky Stinger soon learned that he needed to train more on his own to become a great flyer and both he and Vapor Trail gained proper training from both Twilight and Rainbow Dash and soon proved that he is Wonderbolt material.
