Sweet Pop is the placeholder name of a Pegasus pony filly who first appears in the season episode The Cutie Mark Chronicles. She has a pale violet coat, two-tone gray mane and tail, and spring green eyes.
Development and design
Sweet Pop shares her design with "Peachy Petal", "Mango Dash", "Pinkie Feather", "Rainy Feather", S05E25 Unnamed Pegasus Filly #1, and sometimes earlier filly Derpy, her mane and tail style with Peachy Pie, and her mane style with "Purpletastic/Purpleskies".
She, along with "Tornado Bolt", Cotton Cloudy, "Princess Erroria", "Noi", Aura, and Liza Doolots and as well as Prim Posy, Lemony Gem, "Serena", "Pinkie Feather", "Rainy Feather", and "Mango Dash", was to appear in Friendship is Magic, part 2.[1]
Depiction in the series
Sweet Pop first appears in the season one episode The Cutie Mark Chronicles. She is seen in both Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash's flashbacks. Later, in Hearts and Hooves Day, she appears next to "Mango Dash" and "Princess Erroria" during The Perfect Stallion.
In season four, Sweet Pop becomes awestruck with both Twilight Sparkle and the Cutie Mark Crusaders in Twilight Time.
In season five, Sweet Pop appears in Gilda's flashback to flight camp in The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone, attends Cranky Doodle Donkey and Matilda's wedding in Slice of Life, takes part in the Ponyville Schoolhouse class president elections in Crusaders of the Lost Mark, gets a balloon animal from Pinkie Pie in The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows, and appears in past Cloudsdale in The Cutie Re-Mark - Part 1 and The Cutie Re-Mark - Part 2.
