Meet Princess Celestia[]
This magnificent Princess pony is the ruler of Equestria. Princess Celestia is the most magical pony. She is responsible for raising the Sun and the Moon to create light and darkness in Equestria. She is the only pony with a unicorn's horn and pegasus wings. Wise and kind, she is the mentor to Twilight Sparkle. All of the ponies look up to her and depend on her. Some say she is so wise because she is over one thousand years old. [1]
- Note how this video disregards the existence of Princess Luna, even going so far as to say that she is the only pony with a unicorn's horn and pegasus wings. Later character profiles corrected this mistake. (The in-universe reason might be that the video is narrated from the point of view of before the first episode, when Princess Luna/Nightmare Moon has not been seen for a thousand years and was generally considered little more than a legend. There's no such in-universe excuse for Princess Cadance, though the out-of-universe reason for not mentioning her is obvious - the character didn't exist yet, she was introduced in the first season's finale.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 07:06, March 15, 2014 (UTC)
Bio update[]
Anyone else think it might be prudent to add another section to the biography to sum up events since Magical Mystery Cure? I mean, it's not like there's three and counting season worth of material that's happened since then...--Voltron23 (talk) 21:05, June 6, 2017 (UTC)
- Most of Celestia's major appearances and involvements since season 3 are already covered across several sections on the page. Princess Twilight Sparkle? Covered. Twilight's Kingdom? Covered. Make New Friends but Keep Discord? Covered. The Cutie Re-Mark? Covered. Celestial Advice? Covered.
- Also, why use this archaic talk page method of discussion when there's a comments section?
