Terrorarium and Bubble Trouble are the fourth episode of the second season of My Little Pony: Pony Life and the thirtieth episode overall.
In Terrorarium, Applejack discovers a magical flower friend, but things grow wildly out of control before she knows it.
In Bubble Trouble, Spike and the ponies find a magical bubble wand inside one of the mysterious balloons.

Summary[]
Terrorarium[]
While playing with Winona at Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack discovers one of the mysterious balloons from Close Encounters of the Balloon Kind. Inside, she finds a small, living plant, adopts it as a pet, and names it Hawthorne the Third. Over a video call on her tablet, Applejack's friends warn her that magical creatures need special attention to care for, but she is confident in her caring abilities.
While caring for Hawthorne, Applejack discovers water makes him shrink but apples make him grow. The more Hawthorne grows, the greater his craving for apples becomes. During another video call with her friends, she continues to brag about her pet-caring abilities, but Hawthorne escapes. Following a trail of eaten apples, Applejack and Big McIntosh find he has grown to gigantic, monstrous size, devouring all the apples on the farm.
Applejack calls her friends for help, and when they arrive, she admits to not being as capable of caring for magic creatures as she thought. Applejack remembers Hawthorne's dislike of water, and she and her friends work together to fool him into eating a bunch of water balloons, causing him to shrink down to his original size. Applejack learns her lesson, and the Mane Six decide to solve the mystery of the magic balloons once and for all.
Bubble Trouble[]
One of the magic balloons from Close Encounters of the Balloon Kind produces a bubble wand in front of the Mane Six. After the previous episode, Pinkie Pie is wary of this wand until Spike seizes it for himself to play with. Spike discovers that the bubbles he makes with the wand do not pop, instead simply floating up into space.
Rainbow Dash gets stuck inside one of the bubbles, and when the rest of the ponies try to save her, they get stuck in it as well. The bubble starts to float up toward space, and Twilight Sparkle tells Spike to go get help. The Mane Six try various attempts to pop the bubble and free themselves, but all of their attempts fail, causing them to become extremely panicked.
Eventually, Tank arrives holding a tablet screen so Spike can communicate with the Mane Six. As the ponies panic over their situation, Spike suggests they calm down, and he plays a calming video for them. The Mane Six become less stressed out, and the bubble floats back down to the ground and finally pops. Spike apologizes for causing his friends so much stress, and the Mane Six decide to engage in some calming meditation as the sun rises.
