Summary[]
The De-Stress Ball[]
On the day before the Mane Six's stage play for Ponyville Play Day, the ponies finish their final dress rehearsal. Most of the ponies are excited for the show, but Applejack is overcome with stage fright. Rarity invites her and the rest of their friends to her house for a "de-stress ball" to relax and relieve themselves of their stress. At Rarity's house, she offers her friends treats and various relaxation techniques, and she has also invited relaxation guru Chamomilia to help them.
Chamomilia leads the Mane Six in deep-breathing exercises and visualization therapy, but her relaxation methods only result in the ponies getting more stressed. By the time Chamomilia leaves, all of the Mane Six now have stage fright, but Applejack is less stressed out because she is not alone in her stress. She decides the only way for them to get over their stage fright is to just go on stage the following night and put on the best performance they can together.
Mad Props[]
The night of the Mane Six's stage play finally arrives, and the ponies are ready to perform for a packed theater. As the play gets underway, however, strange things start to happen, such as the stage lights malfunctioning during Rarity and Fluttershy's scene and Applejack's headwear magically transforming. Luckily, the ponies are able to improvise around these mishaps without breaking character.
As the play progresses, stage props start to randomly disappear in the middle of the ponies' scenes, but they are able to improvise around this as well. In the final scene, all the props that disappeared merge together to form a living, fire-breathing monster, and the Mane Six work together to defeat it. Despite all these unexpected and unexplainable mishaps, the Mane Six's play is a great success. As the ponies take a bow, Discord lurks menacingly from behind the curtains.
