    Hola niños. The pony news website I tried to start has closed its doors today since it failed to pick up a readership. There's a newer and better news site at for all your pony news needs. Seeing that my username is no longer relevant, I'll be picking a new one. I'm open to suggestions.

    iTunes 1080p videos

    The iTunes 1080p videos are currently the highest-quality videos of the show available. They are true 1080p videos, unlike the HDTV rips which are deinterlaced 1080i videos. The iTunes videos have rich details that often get blurred out in the HDTV rips, and while the 1080p videos have slightly more compression artifacts than the 720p videos, the improvement in resolution makes up for it.

    it's been a while since I made one of these posts. I'll get right to the point.

    Commonly needed cleanup on the FiM Wiki

    • Copyediting
      • Excessive use of the passive voice. Phrases that might indicate this: "is seen", "as shown", "as demonstrated", "is revealed". These phrases are almost always superfluous. Don't say that something is seen, simply describe what is seen. It is almost never important to note that something that is happening "is seen".
      • Editorializing. Using parenthetical, speculative, instructive, or overly subjective statements. Phrases that might indicate this: "notably", "importantly", "interestingly", "it is apparent".
      • Excessive capitalization. Common nouns are rarely capitalized: dogs, cats, changelings, unicorns, but NOT Dogs, Cat…

    I have an unsubstantiated hunch that The Hub will air a sneak preview of season three on the 13th of October to coincide with the My Little Pony Project New York fair. They timed their Project LA fair with the Canterlot Wedding episodes, and I think they might do it again for the Crystal Empire episodes, with the rest of the season scheduled to start a month later at mid or late November.
