So with the emphasis on globe-hopping in the first arc(s) of Season 10, there are definitely a few trips I would like to see the Mane 6 and/or their allies and friends make in addition to those we've already been told about.

1. Bat Ponies

Anyone who knows me well on the wiki undoubtedly saw this coming. Some have dismissed these ponies as Pegasi who have been fitted with wing coverings to give their normally feathered wings a leathery, bat-like appearance. Others might perhaps be of the opinion that they are standard Pegasi who been physically altered. I personally speculate that such a change is the reason for Rainbow Dash's altered appearance in the Nightmare Moon timeline seen in The Cutie Re-Mark - Part 2.
However, Princess Luna and the Festival of the Winter Moon and previous comics have indicated that the Bat Ponies are, in fact, a distinct tribe of pony, which is the view I take with it. I may be wrong, though I doubt anyone at Hasbro would deign to comment. Operating under the assumption that they are in fact a separate group, I would like to see them where they live and learn more about them.

2. Tirek and Scorpan's homeland

In another proposal that will surprise no one who has followed my various comments and blogs, I'd like to see someone pay a visit to Scorpan. His failure to appear in the show is one of my greatest disappointments with the end of the series. This is particularly rankling since the series almost seemed like it was setting up his debut with references not only to himself, but to Tirek's other relatives. In particular, The Ending of the End - Part 2 namedropped King Vorak, Tirek's father who debuted in FIENDship is Magic Issue 2, the only media to date that has featured Scorpan or his homeland outside of storybook form in an exposition sequence.
Star Swirl the Bearded seems a natural candidate for an Equestrian expedition to the land of centaurs and gargoyles, given his history with Scorpan. Other candidates might be suggested, but I for one am more concerned that the trip be made at all than with who all might go. In addition to finally seeing Scorpan in the modern timeline, there's also some potential for lore-building. Might be nice to see exactly how Tirek's origin story played out, and maybe get to see his beloved Gram Gram for ourselves...

3. Storm Creatures

The Hippogriffs already had a good relationship with the ponies by the end of the show, and we know that Tempest Shadow, Capper, and Captain Celaeno are already slated to appear in Season 10. Laying aside the petrified and/or deceased Storm King and the fabulous but not especially intriguing Songbird Serenade, there's really only one character/group from My Little Pony The Movie to be accounted for: namely, Grubber and the Storm Creatures. Klugetown is more of a random collection of ne'er-do-wells, and the most significant character associated with it in the series-Capper-already has a trip to Abyssinia on his itinerary.
Barring the end credits of The Movie, the canonicity of which has been debated at length, we haven't seen the Storm King's forces since he unleashed his storm upon Canterlot. Given that the series has rarely ever killed off any characters, I doubt that the former minions of the Storm King perished. If nothing else, I doubt they would have killed off Grubber, and also that every Storm Creature in existence was in Canterlot when things went south. That begs the question: what have that sugar-happy hedgehog and his lumbering associates been up to since their monarch's defeat?

4. Thrace

My Little Pony: Feats of Friendship introduced us to a new tribe of ponies (or at least an interesting break off from the Earth ponies) and ended with their story arc still unresolved. A follow up arc in Season 10 (if not a separate miniseries) seems like it could be fun. The implied northern location of Thrace also makes it seem like Shining Armor and Princess Cadance might get the chance for some action.

5. Minotaurs

Now, here's one none of you were probably expecting. I'll admit that this is primarily inspired by Friends Forever Issue 10. I want to see Iron Will's wife and kid, people! And, you know, maybe get some backstory on Will and his goats.

6. Saddle Arabia and Maretonia

Just a couple locations that were mentioned but never visited in the show.

7. Buffalo, Kirin, and Reindeer

These guys are already on good terms with Equestria, apparently, but were in the show little enough that more time with them would not be a bad thing. Also, I doubt Pinkie Pie trekking to the Gift Giver's Grove counts as a diplomatic visit.

Well, those are my thoughts.
